Paradise for hiking and mountain biking

A stone’s throw from the campsite, hiking trails offer you the opportunity to enjoy beautiful outings in a rich and soothing natural environment. Only 1km away, you can join the GR 71D, which follows in the footsteps of the Templars.
The Aveyron is ideal for mountain biking. Roads, footpaths and a wide variety of landscapes make it an ideal area for riding on two wheels.

Climbing in Aveyron

The Gorges of the Tarn, the Jonte and the Dourbie rivers are the closest and offer more than 2,500 separate climbs. The site of Cantobre, situated within 10km of Les 2 Vallées campsite is a paradise for climbers of all levels.

Speleology in the Causses

After the heights, fans of great depths have many caves to explore in Aveyron. All the levels are catered for due to large galleries giving many people the chance to try this activity with ease and safety. Accompanied by experienced guides from Roc et Canyon, these underground incursions are really exciting.


The Aveyron from above is equally magnificent. The region is recognized in France and abroad for its high profile and exceptional aerology sites, notably with Millau, an outdoor sports centre.

Fishing in Aveyron

The Dourbie and the Durzon rivers, flowing near Les Deux Vallées campsite, are emblematic of the water in southern Aveyron. Using ‘pêche au toc’ (natural bait fishing), fly fishing or other methods; pit your wits against the brown trout swimming in these waters.


Have fun on two wheels in Aveyron. Alone or with friends, bikers can enjoy the winding roads of South Aveyron, its plains and its beautiful scenery. The circuits are many and varied.

The Causses and the Cévennes have been classified a UNESCO world heritage site since 28th June 2011.
Nant is one of the 22 communes of the Aveyron affected by this classification.
